Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce opens Tifton office to better serve Latino entrepreneurs
TIFTON, Ga. – The Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has revealed its dynamic business networking group in Tifton, catalyzing opportunities and collaboration.
In a move to extend its reach and bolster support for the Hispanic business community in south Georgia, the GHCC has announced the opening of its satellite office in Tifton, Georgia.
This expansion signals the concerted effort by the GHCC to provide tailored resources and assistance to Hispanic entrepreneurs in the region.
“This is an incredible partnership that we have with the Georgia Chamber. It allows us an opportunity to be centrally located within the south Georgia region, bringing education, resources, business development opportunities to be able to support the growth that we’re seeing from the Hispanic community. And, today’s purpose was to share that. We’re here to talk about collaboration and with regional partners to meet some of the Hispanic business owners in the community and also to share our touch point ambassador group that’s going to be supporting this region for the Georgia Hispanic Chamber,” said Veronica Maldonado-Torres, GHCC President and CEO.
The GHCC has also revealed its fresh branding initiative titled, “40 years into the future,” aimed at symbolizing the organization’s forward-looking vision as it embarks on its next 40 years.
Veronica Maldonado-Torres, President and CEO of GHCC, elaborates on the significance behind this brand.
“We’ve been serving the Hispanic business community for 40 years. We’re celebrating 40 years this year. Our theme is “40 years into the future.” And, it’s talking about what the future looks like and how we prepare our Hispanic business community to scale, to connect to the general market. Our organization serves as a bridge to not only grow our Hispanic business community workforce, but also to be a bridge to the general market so we can all work together and we can build together. And, that is the purpose of our goal here today. For the rural center for prosperity here, the Georgia Chamber will have an office located here and will have quarterly business networking groups for the opportunity for people to connect with each other. So, whether you are Latino or outside of our community, this is the place for us to engage, to connect, to get access to the resources necessary to grow,” she said.
