December 16, 2025
Matthew Crumley,

TIFTON, Ga. – The Tift County Saddle Club is gearing up for its first-ever Christmas Tree Run, and riders from across the region are invited to take part. The event will take place this Saturday at the club’s arena on Tifton Eldorado Road.

Sign-ups and exhibitions begin at 10:30 a.m. Poles are scheduled to start at 1 p.m., followed by the Arena Race and the Cloverleaf events. Several divisions will be offered, including a Youth Cloverleaf category.

Entry fees range from $10 to $30 depending on the event. Exhibition runs are available for $20, and ponies can enter each event for $10.

Cash prizes will also be on the line. Organizers say $100 will be added to both the Poles and Arena Race if more than 20 riders enter each category. An additional $500 will be added to the Christmas Tree Cloverleaf.

Spectators are welcome, and concessions will be available on-site throughout the day.

The event will be held at 366 Tifton Eldorado Road.
