Local Music Artists Unite for the Downtown Cordele Fall Music Festival
CORDELE, Ga. – The downtown community is tuning up for a free, public celebration of local talent as the Downtown Cordele Fall Music Festival takes over Perlis Park this Saturday. The inaugural Downtown Cordele Fall Music Festival will feature live music, entertainment, food, shopping, and family-friendly fun!
Hosted by DJ Sum Serious, the festival lineup features a diverse array of musical styles, including the conscious, streetwise rap of Dude Dynamik, the hip-hop-flavored pop and soul of Tempest Raquel, the electronic dance pop of Pastor’s Child, the roots-inspired indie-folk of Sean Kagalis, and a showcase presented by Empire Performing Arts Studio.
As an organizer of the festival, Kagalis invites the citizens of Cordele and surrounding areas to gather, socialize, and support local artists and vendors. “These types of events can help foster a more robust artistic community, which in turn enriches the entire community,” Kagalis said.
This community-focused celebration showcases live performances by regional and local favorites, alongside local vendors and small business sponsors. Organizers hope the festival will become an annual tradition, adding to the vibrant calendar of events in the Watermelon Capital of the World.
The Downtown Cordele Fall Music Festival takes place from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17th at Perlis Park, 115 South 8th Street, in Cordele. For more information visit the Downtown Cordele and Downtown Cordele Music Festival Facebook pages, or call 229-276-2902.
