Maine Democrat: Graham Platner causing ‘distrust’ by delaying formal exit

Jordan Wood says that former Senate candidate Grant Platner should have dropped out sooner, saying every day he waited showed “further distrust of the process” and delayed Democrats’ efforts to unite behind a candidate to challenge Sen. Susan Collins. Wood says he would not accept Platner’s endorsement, arguing that “there can’t be a vetting process if the candidate does not tell the truth.”
