Summer Harvest Fest in Albany Saturday
ALBANY, Ga. – Celebrate local food, farms, youth, and community this weekend at the 5th Avenue Community Garden in Albany!
Flint River Fresh presents Summer Harvest Fest, a day of hands-on activities, fresh food, and summertime fun, where novices can get answers to their gardening questions.
Participants will enjoy Georgia-grown delicacies, check out youth-led projects, and ask real SOWEGA master gardeners how their gardens grow. See youth-led projects, herb jar kits, grow bags, production demonstrations, and more.
Even if you don’t have a green thumb, you can cultivate some useful knowledge while growing your own skill set, and it’s all free! Some of the featured events include:
