It remains the deadliest cancer in the U.S. This year alone, lung cancer is expected to kill nearly 125,000 people, according to the American Cancer Society. Many of those who die have stage four, the most advanced form of the disease. But a new study provides hope for some of these patients when every other treatment has failed.
