Berrien Co. Road Dept. employee dies from accidental, on-duty incident

NASHVILLE, Ga. – A Berrien County Road Department heavy equipment operator died from an apparent accidental, on-duty incident.

Berrien County Coroner Robert Lovein Jr. confirmed that 61-year-old Jeffery Pernell McCorvey of Nashville, passed away Friday, February 20th.

According to the coroner, McCorvey “passed from his injuries, accidentally.”  He added that his death was unfortunate.

There is no investigation into the incident, officials say.
