VJSL Swings Into Spring

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta Junior Service League (VJSL) swings into spring celebrating 90 years of service in the Valdosta community. The VJSL is an organization of more than one hundred women who are dedicated to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and touching the lives of others in need of assistance.

Founded in 1936, the VJSL has a long history of collaboration in the community and has lent its support to Second Harvest of South Georgia, Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, and several other philanthropic groups as well.

This year’s Spring Soiree and Silent Auction takes place at the Turner Art Center in Valdosta Saturday night at 7 P.M. Organizers state it will be an evening of dinner, dancing, live music, and the best silent auction around.

Tickets are only $50 a person, and that price includes dinner and one drink ticket. For more information about the VJSL Spring Soiree, visit https://www.facebook.com/events/1576866200305373.
