Lane closure on S. Broadway St. due to water leak

ALBANY, Ga. – Effective immediately, the southbound lane of S. Broadway St. between Broad Ave and Oglethorpe Blvd. has been closed due to a partial road collapse caused by an active water leak. The northbound lane of S. Broadway St. is open but has been narrowed due to the repair work.

City crews are currently working to repair the leak, and the lane restrictions will remain in place until all necessary repairs are completed.

Motorists going east bound are urged to take College Drive to Oglethorpe Blvd., and to use caution when traveling in the area and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
