Tifton Council for the Arts opens call for class proposals for 2026

TIFTON, Ga. – Local artists with a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply as the Tifton Council for the Arts opens its call for class proposals for 2026. The organization is seeking creative instructors to lead art classes and workshops for both children and adults as part of its mission to make the arts accessible, affordable, and available for the community.

The Council welcomes proposals from artists working in a wide range of disciplines. Opportunities are available for instructors skilled in painting, photography, crochet, basketry, floral arrangement, dance, pottery, knitting, quilting, graphic design, embroidery, fine arts, 3D art, and other creative practices.

Teach for TCA! Instructors selected to teach through the Tifton Council for the Arts receive competitive compensation, earning 70 percent of class registration fees. Additional benefits include flexible scheduling, professional growth opportunities, and full organizational support. The Council provides marketing, administrative assistance, and classroom management help, allowing instructors to focus on sharing their craft and inspiring students.

Teaching artists also gain increased exposure through the Council’s promotional efforts and community events, while contributing to the cultural enrichment of Tifton and the surrounding area.
