Dougherty County Government New Year’s Day Holiday Notice
ALBANY, Ga. – In observance of the New Year’s Day holiday, all Dougherty County departments and offices closed at 12 p.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025. This early closure includes the courts. The closure does not apply to emergency services and other 24/7 county operations.
Please note:
• The Tax & Tag Office will remain open today until 7 p.m. and will be open Friday, Jan. 2, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Administrative offices will resume normal business hours on Friday, Jan. 2.
• Administrative offices will be closed Thursday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year’s Day.
