Langdale Place in Valdosta hosts holiday-themed “Cookies, Cocoa & Care” dementia caregiver support group this Tuesday

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Langdale Place is inviting caregivers and their loved ones to a special holiday edition of its monthly dementia support group on Tuesday, December 16. The event, called “Cookies, Cocoa & Care,” will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Rose Room on Windemere Drive.

The gathering offers a warm and supportive environment for families navigating dementia, especially during the holiday season. Organizers say December can bring added stress, emotional strain, and unique challenges for caregivers. The session provides an opportunity to share experiences, learn helpful strategies, and connect with others who understand the journey.

The support group meets on the third Tuesday of every month and is open to both new and experienced caregivers. Participants can discuss concerns, access resources, and find comfort alongside a community facing similar circumstances.
