Humane Society of Moultrie & Colquitt County launches “Paws for Santa Claws” holiday fundraiser helping shelter pets in need

MOULTRIE, Ga. – The Humane Society of Moultrie and Colquitt County is inviting the community to support shelter pets this holiday season through its “Paws for Santa Claws” fundraiser. The organization is offering three-gallon potted Christmas trees for $20, and all proceeds will directly benefit animals in need.

The trees are generously donated by J&L Growers, ensuring that every dollar raised goes toward caring for local shelter pets. Orders are being taken through December 16, and reserved trees will be available for pickup on December 23, just in time for Christmas.

The Humane Society encourages the community to take part in the fundraiser and help bring holiday cheer to animals waiting for their forever homes. Residents interested in participating can place an order by emailing societymoultriehumane@gmail.com or calling 229-985-5463.
