Toy Car Time’s Georgia Winter Champs racing event at Chehaw RC Raceway rescheduled for February 6th–7th, 2026
ALBANY, Ga. – Toy Car Time has announced on their Facebook page that the inaugural Georgia Winter Champs, a new state-level competition hosted at Chehaw RC Raceway has been rescheduled for February 6th-7th, 2026. The two-day event is expected to draw top talent from Georgia and surrounding states.
Organized by Toy Car Time.com, the event is designed to spotlight skilled drivers of all ages and experience levels. Top-five trophies will be awarded in every class, including novice, buggy, truggy, and specialty divisions such as +40 E-Buggy and 4WD SCT.
Friday’s schedule features open practice from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. followed by controlled practice from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday, sign-ups and warmups run from 8 to 9:30 a.m. before racing begins at 10 a.m.
Drivers will take on a full slate of buggy and truggy classes, with formats that include double A-mains, qualifiers, and ladder mains for select divisions. One of the biggest highlights is a 45-minute Nitro Buggy main event on Saturday, offering racers one of the most challenging runs of the weekend.
Entry fees begin at $45 for the first class, $25 for the second, and $15 for the third. Classes include:

Each racer will compete in at least two or three qualifiers depending on class size. Ladder main formats will be used in Nitro Buggy and E-Buggy for fields of 20 or more entries.
