Albany’s Jingle Bell Jog returns for its 37th year to support Children’s Miracle Network and Phoebe’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

ALBANY, Ga. – A beloved holiday tradition is returning to Albany as the Jingle Bell Jog kicks off this Saturday, December 6, at Tift Park. The long-running event, now in its 37th year, supports the Children’s Miracle Network at Phoebe and brings together families, runners, and walkers for a festive morning of fitness and fun.

The Jingle Bell Jog features multiple race options for all ages and abilities. The 10K run begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K run and walk at 8:45 a.m., and a 1-mile fun walk at 9:00 a.m. Organizers note that the event is returning to its original race route this year, and participants are encouraged to review the updated course map when registering.

All runners and walkers will receive a race T-shirt, with sizes ranging from toddler through adult 4XL. Awards will be given in several age groups for both the 5K and 10K events, with categories spanning from children under 5 to adults 75 and older.

Race packet pickup will take place at Phoebe HealthWorks, located at 311 W. 3rd Avenue, on December 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and December 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants may also register in person during packet pickup or on race day at Tift Park.

Proceeds from the Jingle Bell Jog benefit Phoebe’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, helping provide life-saving care to infants across Southwest Georgia.
