City of Albany Proposed Property Tax Decrease
ALBANY, Ga. – On Tuesday, December 2, at 8:30 a.m., in Room 100 of the Government Center, 222 Pine Avenue, the City of Albany Board of Commissioners will vote on a millage rate rollback.
Due to the Commission considering a lower millage rate than the initially advertised rate, there will be no need to hold the originally scheduled public hearings on Tuesday, November 25, at 8:30 a.m. and at 6 p.m.
The commission meetings are open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.
This rollback will only affect the City millage rate and will not affect the County or Board of Education millage rates.
