SGTC official participating in virtual Fatherhood Conversation for Americus and six surrounding areas

AMERICUS, Ga. – South Georgia Technical College Director of Career Services Cynthia Carter will be joining Fatherhood Outreach Specialist 3 Lisa Courtney from the Division of Child Support Services and the Georgia Department of Human Services to host a virtual Fatherhood Conversation for Americus and six surrounding areas on November 19, 2025 from 6 – 7 p.m.

   Individuals are invited to visit facebook.com/OmegaPsiPhiGA to join the virtual event on November 18, 2025 from 6 – 7 p.m.  The conversation will center around child support services and how they can help fathers play a greater role in their children’s lives.

   Topics will include driver’s license reinstatement, child support services, GED enrollment, job training, job search/placement, emotional wellness training and support order modification (where applicable).  Individuals in Americus and six surrounding areas are invited to join the virtual event.
