43rd Annual Lean-Ox Festival returns to downtown Lenox this weekend
LENOX, Ga. – It’s almost time to celebrate one of South Georgia’s most beloved small-town traditions! The 43rd Annual Lean-Ox Festival is returning to Downtown Lenox on Friday, November 14, and Saturday, November 15.
The two-day event kicks off Friday evening with a free community concert at 6 p.m., setting the stage for a full day of family fun on Saturday. Festivities begin with the festival parade at 11 a.m., followed by activities and entertainment for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy a car show, KidZone, cake auction, and more than 50 local vendors offering handcrafted goods, food, and gifts. A variety of food trucks will also be on site, serving up festival favorites throughout the weekend.
Hosted annually since 1980, the Lean-Ox Festival holds the distinction of being Cook County’s longest-running community celebration. The event helps support the beautification and maintenance of the Town of Lenox, while bringing residents and visitors together to experience true small-town charm.
