Six (6) different canine search teams from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and the Georgia State Patrol assisted in the search. After utilizing these resources no one matching the description or additional evidence of the unknown person was discovered.

The two (2) occupants of the vehicle being pursued fled into the area of the WMA where one was apprehended by the Lenox Police and the other occupant was captured a short time later by Deputies from the Cook County and Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. This added further to the large law enforcement presence in the area of the WMA.
