Downtown Valdosta Goes to the Dogs this Saturday Morning

VALDOSTA, Ga. – It’s that time of year again – ValDogsta Day of Summer! It’s going to be one ‘ruff’ Saturday morning, when dog owners and their canine companions descend on downtown Valdosta to strut their stuff and sniff out a good time.

The event, sponsored by Historic Valdosta Main Street, is a great way to get out of the house and let your pups socialize for a bit.  There will be a treat stop trail, a pop-up dog park, and 2 paw print stations for artistically inclined pups. There will even be a canine massage therapist, because…well, you know, and then there’s the Best Dressed Dog Competition at 11:30 a.m. Lowndes County Animal Control will be on site providing on-site pet adoptions at the event as well.

The entire event promises to be a great time had by all, and it takes place this Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until noon in downtown Valdosta. You do not want to woof on this one!
