Sumter Pink Walk for Cancer returns to Mattie H. Marshall Cross Country Trail at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center on Saturday, Oct. 25th
AMERICUS, Ga. – Neighbors and community members will once again come together for a sea of pink at the annual Sumter Pink Walk for Cancer on Saturday, October 25, at the Mattie H. Marshall Cross Country Trail at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.
Now in its seventh year, the walk has already raised more than $136,000 to support local cancer patients. Organizers say the event is about more than fundraising; it’s a way to show survivors, families, and those still fighting that no one battles cancer alone.
Registration is $25 through October 10 and increases to $35 after that date. All participants receive a t-shirt and goodie bag.
