AT&T hosts hiring event in Albany

ALBANY, Ga. – With a focus on expanding its workforce, AT&T, a prominent player in the telecommunications industry, host a hiring event in Albany.

AT&T is actively seeking candidates to fill full-time positions as field sales representatives. This recruitment highlights the company’s ongoing efforts to meet changing demands of consumers and remain competitive within the telecommunications sector.

“We are here doing interviews for people willing to be self-motivated and get out in the field. Just come to work with us,” said Ketrayontia Bowens, AT&T IHX Associate Director.

These full-time positions come with a competitive compensation, including comprehensive benefits such as medical and dental coverage, a 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and paid time off for eligible candidates.

“Just to keep the economy going in Albany. Right now, we don’t have that many jobs and with this job we offer them a car. Most jobs you have to have dependable transportation, but this one, we give you a car. We offer 401(k), we offer commission base, we offer hourly and then we also care about our people. So, we have different resources available for the mental well being,” said Bowens.

Bowens outlines the application process and avenues for accessing these positions.

“They can just go to the website which is ATT.com/careers and they can always apply there and it’ll show them a breakdown of all the positions that we’re currently applying for, not just in Georgia but everywhere else. So they definitely need to upload a resume. Some other positions also ask for like a short ten minute video and it will have the questions that they need to discuss,” said Bowens.
