National Grits Festival held in Warwick a cornucopia of fun

WARWICK, Ga. – The National Grits Festival in Warwick on Saturday was a real cornucopia of fun!

Folks from south Georgia and beyond gathered for a fantastic family event that had something for everyone. From thrilling contests to exciting prizes, it was a day to remember.

And… let’s talk food! There was a mouthwatering array of options, from savory Cajun dishes to finger-licking BBQ and even some unique treats like gator bites. And, for those with a sweet tooth, there were plenty of delights to satisfy every craving.

The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) added to the excitement with displays and safety demos, ensuring a fun and safe experience for all.

With a lively atmosphere throughout the day, the festival was a perfect blend of food, fun, and community spirit. Attendees had the chance to browse exquisite arts and crafts from local artist, adding to the festive vibe.

Big thanks to Mayor Juanita Kinchen and all the volunteers who made this year’s festival one to remember!
