Worth Co. school bus rolls over, 20 students and driver transported to hospital for minor injuries

SYLVESTER, Ga. – A school bus rolled over onto its side on its final route just before delivering students on Tuesday morning.

The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) says the bus was headed North on Massey Airport Road around 7:20 a.m. when the driver lost control and overturned onto the driver’s side.

20 children including the driver were transported to Phoebe Worth hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Troopers are still awaiting the release of the bus surveillance video.
