ASU student killed in early Sunday morning wreck
ALBANY, Ga. – The Traffic Unit of the Albany Police Department (APD) is currently investigating a motor vehicle accident that took place at approximately 3:26 a.m. Sunday.
Responding officers attended to the scene at the 2300 block of Gillionville Road, where a vehicle veered off the road and collided with a pole. Unfortunately, one person, reportedly an Albany State University student, was killed. Three other occupants have sustained injuries and are being hospitalized for treatment.
The incident is still under investigation by the Traffic Unit, and further updates will be provided as new information becomes available for release.
