Albany Area Chamber of Commerce hosts ‘Mix & Mingle’ networking event

ALBANY, Ga. – It’s a beautiful day to ‘Mix and Mingle’ and open a door of many opportunities with the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce host their ‘Mix and Mingle’ networking event at the Doublegate Country Club to jump start the day with a burst of business energy.

“At the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, we help businesses connect, build, influence, and lead. Our morning ‘Mix and Mingle’ networking event provides opportunities to do just that,” said Barbara Rivera Holmes, President & CEO, Albany Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event was free for chamber members and for those who seek to explore what the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce has to offer.

“It’s an opportunity to connect and meet each other, to build new relationships, and reestablish some old relationships. Also, learn about the benefits associated with the chamber of commerce. What we do, how we benefit business, the work we do on the behalf of the community and how our business can also serve in that work,” said Holmes.

So, what does the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce have to offer?

“We connect business to business, we promote businesses, we provide referrals to businesses. We go a lot of back-end work, a lot of unseen work in terms of advocacy and building Albany’s business climate; so that’s it’s friendly for a new business, for existing businesses, and for our citizens as well,” said Holmes.
