Temporary road closure at Old Dawson Road at Forrester Road on Thursday, August 24th

ALBANY, Ga. – According to a press release by Dougherty County Public Works there will be a temporary road closure at Old Dawson Road @ Forrester Road on Thursday, August 24th from 12:00PM-4:00 PM.

Dougherty County’s contractor, Sirens for Cities, will be installing a utility pole on the south shoulder of Old Dawson Road @ Forrester Road on Thursday, August 24th from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM.   

During this time, Old Dawson Road will be narrowed to one lane with flagmen controlling vehicular movements at each end of the construction. Motorists should expect delays and be alert to changing traffic conditions. 

Please use an alternate route if possible.
