Woman inmate found dead in Dougherty Co. Jail
ALBANY, Ga. – In Dougherty county, at around 2:45 pm this afternoon, Dougherty county inmate Donnetta Sanders was found dead in her cell.
No foul play is suspected, as she was alone in her cell.
She was in jail for 19 days, and has been transported to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
The GBI has been requested to investigate the incident.
