Woman injured, in hospital after two-vehicle crash near All American Fun Park in Albany
ALBANY, Ga. – A woman is recovering in the hospital tonight after being injured in a two-vehicle collision in front of All American Fun Park in Northwest Albany.
Dougherty County 911 dispatch said the call came in at 1:21 p.m. and the crash happened at 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
Two cars were involved in the crash, a witness said that airbags were deployed in both vehicles, and a woman was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The Albany Fire Department (AFD) had to use Hurst tools or “Jaws of Life” to remove the woman who was trapped inside the wrecked vehicle.
The Albany Fire Department (AFD), Albany Police Department (APD), and Dougherty County EMS responded to the scene.
