Woman arrested, man wanted in weekend Albany homicide
24-year-old Tommy Charles Stewart is wanted as a person of interest in connection to this investigation.
ALBANY, Ga. – On Saturday, Albany Police officers responded to the 200 block of North Broadway Street in reference to a shooting.
Officers located 32-year-old Semario Watkins deceased in the roadway after sustaining gunshot wounds.
A search warrant was executed in the 500 block of Swift Avenue yesterday after investigators followed leads. 29-year-old Camry Yates was charged with one count of tampering with evidence and one count of aiding and abetting.
She was transported to the Dougherty County Jail. A vehicle was towed as part of the investigation to be processed.
24-year-old Tommy Charles Stewart is wanted as a person of interest in connection to this investigation.
Stewart’s last known address was within the 1000 block of Radium Springs Road.
