Woman arrested for stabbing husband with knife after altercation

ALBANY, Ga. – On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, officers responded to 1900 block of Meadows Lane, in reference to an Aggravated Assault. Upon arrival, officers saw the suspect, Shanzenytta Kasas rendering aide to a male.

Kasas told officers that her and her husband had an altercation, and she stabbed him with a knife after poking him several times.

Kasas was transported to the Dougherty County Jail on the charge of Aggravated Assault- Family Violence.
