Wiregrass Technical College Ben Hill-Irwin Campus to host Virtual Reality & Heavy Equipment Summer Camp
FITZGERALD, Ga. – Wiregrass Technical College is hosting a Virtual Reality & Heavy Equipment Summer Camp Monday, June 2nd through Thursday, June 5th.
The camp takes place at the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus, with drop-off between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m., and pick-up from 12:15 to 12:30 p.m.
Open to students ages 11 to 16, registration is $75 per camper. Participants will explore careers through VR headsets, including fields like healthcare and welding, and get hands-on experience using a Caterpillar motor grader simulator. Campers over 14 will also have the chance to operate a mini excavator and backhoe.
