Wilcox Co. Sheriff Robert Rodgers laid to rest on Saturday

ROCHELLE, Ga. – Law enforcement from all across the state gathered in Rochelle, Wilcox county, Saturday afternoon for the funeral service of Sheriff Robert Rodgers.

The service was held in the Wilcox County High School gymnasium with interment in the Christian Home Cemetery.

Sheriff Rodgers had served in law enforcement for 22 years, was elected Sheriff of Wilcox county in 2016, and was serving his second term at the time of his tragic death.
