Warwick Police arrest man with outstanding warrants following high-speed police chase

WARWICK, Ga. – On February 14, 2026, at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers with the Warwick Police Department attempted to make a traffic stop on a Dodge Challenger, on Georgia Highway 300 in the city limits of Warwick, due to a vehicle not having its headlights on. The vehicle did not stop, leading officers on a chase at speeds over 130 mph. The vehicle attempted to make a right turn onto Georgia Highway 32 at a high rate of speed leaving the roadway and crashing into a fence line, disabling the vehicle. The driver, Cavasia Rashaude Adams (Dothan, Al.) then fled on foot from the accident scene into the nearby wooded area. A female passenger was transported by Worth County EMS for minor injuries. Worth County Sheriff’s Office, and Warwick Police K9 assisted in the search for Cavasia Adams. He was apprehended approximately 2 hours later on Georgia Highway 32 after entering a Hyundai Elantra that came to pick him up. Georgia State Patrol worked the accident. The case remains open.

He had an outstanding warrant out of Coweta County Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation.

He had outstanding warrants out of Houston County Sheriff’s Office (Alabama), for failure to appear for Burglary 2nd, Robbery 1st, Escape 3rd, Domestic Violence 2nd Criminal Mischief, Destruction of State property, Felony Attempt to Elude.
