ALBANY, Ga. – The following is a list of cold weather relief/warming centers open across South Georgia ahead of extreme cold conditions:

    • Open 6 p.m. – 7 a.m., Sunday, January 25 – Wednesday, February 4

    • Closed 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 30

  • Americus

    • Plains Baptist Church, 301 N. Bond St.

    • First Baptist Church, 221 S. Lee St.

    • Calvary Episcopal Church, 408 S. Lee St. (Open Wednesday and Thursday)

    • Friendship Baptist Church, 411 Cotton Ave.

  • Cordele

    • Crisp County Recreation Department, 1205 5th St. N

    • Monday, January 26 at 6:00 p.m.

  • Tifton

    • Nighttime Warming Station:

    • First Baptist Church Gymnasium, 404 Love Ave.

      • Monday & Tuesday nights, January 26–27

    • Leroy Rogers Senior Center, 315 W. 2nd St.

      • Wednesday–Saturday nights, January 28–31
