Virtual Fatherhood Conversation event hosted by Georgia Department of Human Services’ Division of Child Support Services in partnership with Omega Psi Phi
AMERICUS, Ga. – Fathers in Americus and communities across six surrounding counties are invited to take part in a virtual Fatherhood Conversation this evening from 6 to 7 p.m. The online event is hosted by the Georgia Department of Human Services’ Division of Child Support Services in partnership with Omega Psi Phi.
The discussion will highlight services and resources designed to help fathers become more engaged in their children’s lives. Topics include:

Understanding child support services

Driver’s license reinstatement

GED enrollment
-
Job training, job search assistance, and job placement

Emotional wellness and support
-
Support order modifications (when applicable)
Organizers say the goal is to give dads practical tools and access to programs that can help them improve stability, strengthen relationships, and remove barriers that may prevent active parenting.
