Victory of Albany to host 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey & Food Box Giveaway

ALBANY, Ga. – Victory of Albany, together with several partnering churches, is preparing to bless hundreds of local families through its 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey and Food Box Giveaway. The event will take place Tuesday, November 25, at the Albany Civic Center parking lot, with distribution beginning promptly at 8 a.m.

This year’s outreach will provide approximately 800 turkeys and food boxes to families in need, and everything will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizers encourage residents to arrive early, as the event continues to grow each year and typically draws a large turnout.

To receive a turkey and box of food, guests must bring a valid driver’s license or ID. Attendees are also asked to remain in their vehicles, as volunteers will place all items directly into the trunk to ensure a smooth and safe drive-through experience.

This annual giveaway is one of the many ways Victory of Albany and local churches are working to make sure no family in the community goes without a holiday meal.
