Veterans’ Resource Fair bridges health and wellness gaps

ALBANY, Ga. – Helping veterans access resources for both their physical and mental well-being after retiring from service can be challenging, but one group is working to improve this situation.

The Carl Vinson Veterans’ Administration Medical Center and Macon Veterans Center organized a resource fair at American Legion Post 512 on Thursday.

Veterans had the chance to learn about pact and other resources to guide their health journeys.

A member of the Carl Vinson Center discussed their commitment to offering these vital resources to veterans.

“So, we want to try and offer as many services as we can to our veterans. Because our veterans are very important to us. And, we know during this timeframe, a lot of veterans are going through a lot of issues. And, we want to be a resource fair for them. And, provide them the resources they need to get the care,” said Keith Griffin, Carl Vinson VA Medical Center.

There will be another Veterans’ Resource Fair on July 25th at the Worth County Public Library in Sylvester.
