Valdosta elementary school student transported to hospital after school bus accident

VALDOSTA, Ga. – On Monday morning, Valdosta City Schools bus 92, serving J.L. Lomax Elementary, was in a minor accident with fewer than 25 students on board.

One student was taken to South Georgia Medical Center as a precaution, and a few went with their parents for extra checks.

J.L. Lomax staff, have been reaching out to all families to ensure their well-being.

The accident is currently under investigation.
