Two teens charged in shooting incident in the 900 block of Willowood Drive

ALBANY, Ga. – On August 28, 2025, just after 4:00 p.m., officers, responded to the 900 block of Willowood Drive in reference to a shooting.

Witnesses reported that suspects in a vehicle fired shots in the direction of two individuals outside the location. No injuries were reported.

Following an investigation, two individuals were taken into custody:

A 16-year-old was charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of a Firearm Under the Age of 18. The juvenile was transported to Terrell Regional Youth Detention Center.

Mochavious Dowell, 17 – charged with Possession of a Firearm Under the Age of 18. He was transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
