Two suspects wanted for murder in Lowndes Co. captured in Berrien Co.
BERRIEN, Co., Ga. – According to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office,
“Two subjects wanted for murder in Lowndes County have been located and taken into custody in Berrien County.
Madelyn Rogers is now in custody within 14 hours from the arrest of Javante Hunter. She was taken into custody on Highway 125 near Raymond Roland Road about 11:45 today.
This all started yesterday just after 5 when we were notified that the duo were spotted near mile marker 15 on Highway 125. Shortly after deputies found the 2 walking on Bennie Griner Rd. and they fled.
Thankful to our community for their help and support during this manhunt. We want to thank Lowndes County, Valdosta P. D. , Gsp/ Aviation, Ga Dept. of Corrections K-9, and our dispatch center for all the assistance.”
