Two arrested in 419 Cannon Ave. ongoing homicide investigation in Albany

ALBANY, Ga. – It was here in the 400 block of Cannon Avenue over the weekend where Albany Police found a man who was shot.
Albany Police say on Saturday a shooting took place at 419 Cannon Avenue.
Officers made contact with 42-year-old Roger Blankenship, with a gunshot wound to the head.
Danielle Lindsey and Hannah Blankenship, the daughter of Blankenship and Lindsey were transported to the law enforcement center from the scene where interviews were conducted.
Lindsey was charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
Blankenship was charged with murder and tampering with evidence and transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
