Truck crashes into 2 Albany homes, causes fires
ALBANY, Ga. – On Thursday, two homes caught fire after being struck by a truck.
The accident happened on Queens Road, after the driver swerved off of Slappey Boulevard.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, and drove through a yard, hitting the two homes, causing them to burst into flames.
The first home had an unknown number of occupants, with no injuries reported.
The second home had no occupants.
That home is now considered uninhabitable.
The identity and the condition of the driver is unknown at this time.
