TRMC Foundation donates $7,500 to Tiftarea Community Food Bank
TIFTON, Ga. – The Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC) Foundation recently presented a $7,500 donation to the Tiftarea Community Food Bank to support its ongoing efforts to combat hunger in Tift County.
For more than 40 years, the Tiftarea Community Food Bank has provided food assistance to impoverished and homeless residents. The organization distributes fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and non-perishable goods to more than 4,000 people in the community each year.
“The Foundation is pleased to partner with the Tiftarea Community Food Bank,” said Mandy Brooks, executive director of the TRMC Foundation. “This is a wonderful service for our community, and we are very fortunate to have them providing support for our underprivileged residents.”
