Today’s Weather Forecast: May 31, 2022

Another mostly sunny, seasonably warm day with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms moving in from east to west.

Drier and hotter on Wednesday. Temperatures reach the mid-90’s. Heat Index will approach or top 100.

Not much change on Thursday with hot temperatures in the mid-upper 90’s.

Still seasonably hot thru the weekend with a chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm.

Will need to watch tropical disturbance, the remnants of Agatha over the southern Gulf of Mexico or northwest Caribbean Sea as it moves northward the latter half of the week.

For now, the system looks to primarily affect the southern Florida peninsula, but that could change, so stay tuned!

Hurricane Season officially begins on Wednesday, June 1st.
