FLOOD AND STORM THREAT
There is a marginal risk of isolated strong to severe thunderstorms on Friday. The primary risks are gusty winds, and possibly an isolated, brief tornado.
There is a slight risk (15% probability) of excessive rainfall that could lead to flash flooding on Friday, and a marginal risk on Saturday.
2″-4″ of rainfall is expected with locally higher totals possible.
Flash flooding is an extremely dangerous situation. Monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action by seeking higher ground should flash flooding develop.

EXTENDED FORECAST
Heavy rainfall potential keeps temperatures slightly below average in the low-mid 80’s.
A “cold front” appears by midweek sending morning lows in the mid-upper 60’s!
TROPICAL UPDATE
Danielle is now a post-tropical cyclone over the northern Atlantic.
Earl is a strong hurricane with maximum sustained winds 105 mph.
Earl will pass 75-100 miles east of Bermuda tonight through tomorrow morning.
Earl is still forecast to become a major hurricane later this week.
Tropical Storm conditions are expected with hurricane conditions possible for Bermuda.
Dangerous surf and rip current conditions are possible over the eastern U.S. coastline for the next few days.
Eastern Atlantic tropical wave has a high chance of development.
A tropical wave along the coast of Africa has a low chance of development.
