EXTENDED FORECAST

Rain chances decrease slightly by the middle of next week.

Highs in upper 80’s-near 90.

TROPICAL UPDATE

Danielle becomes the first hurricane of the 2022 Atlantic season.

Forecast to meander and strengthen a little.

Will remain a “fish storm” staying out to sea over the northern Atlantic Ocean.

Data from Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft indicate that the circulation associated with an area of low pressure located a couple 100 miles east of the Leeward Islands has become better defined.

If trends continue, a tropical depression could form as early as tonight.

The next name on the list is Earl.
