March will go out like a lion!
A WEATHER AWARE DAY is in effect from 5 AM until 2 PM Thursday for a “Slight Risk” of severe thunderstorms.
Main threats are damaging wind gusts 60-70 mph, isolated tornadoes, and localized flash flooding.
Outside of the thunderstorms, southerly winds will whip 15-25 mph with gusts 35-45 mph, subsiding by late evening.
Dry Friday. Slight chance of a shower on Saturday. Seasonal end to weekend is expected.
Warming up into the mid-80s by Tuesday-Wednesday with the next chance of thunderstorms.
