Today’s Weather Authority Forecast: June 17, 2021

Comfortable conditions with low humidity persists today! Tropical moisture surges north on Friday. Then all attention turns to potential tropical development in the Gulf of Mexico. We will likely have a Tropical Depression or possibly a Tropical Storm make landfall along the northern Gulf coast of TX/LA on Saturday. It’s still early, but we could see 3″-5″ of rain especially near the GA/AL line with 1″-3″ elsewhere between Sunday-Wednesday of next week as the remnants makes its closest approach to SWGA.
