Today’s Weather Authority Forecast: June 15, 2021

Matthew Crumley Weather
Slight chance for isolated strong t-storms mainly south near the GA/FL line. There is a Marginal Risk for a few severe t-storms that may produce gusty to damaging winds, small hail, torrential downpours, & dangerous lightning. Otherwise, mainly sunny & hot with feels-like readings around 101. Lower rain chances & less humid air invades for the rest of the week.
Then tropical moisture returns by Father’s Day Weekend as all eyes turn to possible tropical development of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico. Most guidance has a direct impact to the TX/LA Gulf coast with a surge of deep moisture on the east side of the system. This would increase our rain chances. Stay tuned to the Weather Authority for updates!
